In the far room of the green house complex I found a potted plant with these flowers. At a distance they look like insects. The name on the pot was - Acanthacea Pachystachys Lutea (Golden Ax), from Peru and Ecuador. Even close up they look like golden insects. Length 3 to 4 inches.
I really like these due to their vibrant colors.
