Description
Ok, I posted a very similar shot much earlier in my gallery.
But I found this, and it's much clearer. Not much postwork, as I was just starting out with a camera, back then; but my camera settings were clearly for the "big-saturated" look! It's near where I live, and I think the woman here needed to consider slightly simpler makeup...she was layin' it on a wee bit thick...
I was going to finish my commenting on Monday---but I got delayed. I continued today, and I have only a few of you left to comment on. Thanks so much for being patient as I only do a few images in your galleries, this time around. I'll do more next time, I promise. I just didn't have the time (or energy), this month.
In the meantime, enjoy "green lady," and I hope all of you are having a fine summer---except for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, who are having winter. (I never understood that whole "hemisphere" thing, and I'm presently writing letters to get it all straightened out. The earth needs some work, that's all...)
Thanks for stopping by!
And thanks for your caring wishes.
I'll be back to finish, tomorrow!

great saturated colors. oh, dear... she's melting!

The color is very intense & the mood ultra-modern & slick. It looks like she got slimed in a major way & Steely Dan got a free plug for their decades old album...

lol she got green slim. guess it was the time when the movie ghost busters came out and those ghosts was green slimming people. hahahahh.Very good shot

OMG, shades of the movie, Blade Runner, in this magnificent imposing futuristic image of downtown Chicago, Mark. I am awed by the tons of rectangles, displayed in various angles and colors. As for the oversaturated woman on the screen, she looks far from terrestrial. I believe she's an alien space commander shouting orders to attack Earth.

Fabulous capture and wicked postwork! Slimer Strikes again

Ultramodern urban deco; marvelous composition and immersion into the cityscape!

I know very well it's pronounced Asia, but spending so much time in south Texas, my brain automatically translated AJA as A-ha! Terrific image. I remember this from before, and it's a treat to see it again!

The picture is absolutely charming although a feeling of anguish. Probably the lady who seems caught in a fluid green alien imprisoned by the skyscrapers of the city from the whole image this sense of anxiety. A nice picture, is anything but ordinary indeed very very expressive !!!!!

My brain pronounced it ah-yah! Not just weird but disturbing, it held me trapped in incomprehension.

OHH ! Maybe she used too many cucumbers for her face to look beautiful and now see the result. But this sign stands beautiful against the blue skycrapers. In the older days, green and blue were almost forbitten to put together :) Now we all find it very beautiful :) And the a j a...sounds normal to me. like "Ah-ja". = "ah yes". :) I love this shot. A really Mark shot :D

Mark, first of all let me tell you that I very much enjoyed this image you shared with us today. While the sign appears to be the stuff that nightmares are made of, the comments up on it here gave me a chuckle. One thing you most certainly can say about the sign is that it gets your attention, and I absolutely love the way you framed it between the buildings.

Oh my, she's very green. Definitely an eye-catching sign, and the blue and green contrasts are very striking in the photo. You don't see stuff like this in the mountains. Most blue and green we get is sky and trees. :o)

A little too much makeup, perhaps?? But such an awesome piece of urban art, not often buildings like that take a back seat to anything!!

aja = ab-fab ... it's in your face, literally speaking and I love it ! strong colours who make a statement - 'are my thing' ! as you already know ;)) well, it's better than looking at an urban grey concrete jungle of plain walls, etc. - can be boring ... but this lifts my spirits and is sensational, very exciting and even a bit wicked - keep'em coming Mark ! ... and thanks for writing letters - to gawd knows whom ? I am already over the cold Winter, when I woke up yesterday [Sunday] it was 15C in the morning and warmed up during the day to low and behold, to 21C - not too shabby, really !
