Michelangelo, Alexander and Hermanus, the three botcydroids, gather in the transport area on moon base. They all have on Medieval period clothing so they can blend in more comfortably with the people they are going to visit on the new planet. They have talked over their plans with Archimedes and he has given them the green light to proceed. Just before they leave, the spaceman appears before them. 'Might I have just a moment of your time before you embark on this auspicious mission of yours?' asks the spaceman. 'I have a feeling you could use some of my council. After all, I have been around for quite awhile.' The three artificial life forms respond kindly to his request and await his next words. 'Let me warn you now. You are still small children entering a very complex environment. The people you are about to mingle with have been around for several millions of years. The ones on the new planet were the only ones to heed the wisdom of my words, but there might still be some resentment in a few of their minds. Perhaps they might even be blaming me for the loss of their former world.' The spaceman goes on to tell the three botcydroids a quick history of the alien race that now inhabits the world they are about to enter though their transport gate. He tells of all the wonderful accomplishments they achieved while they had their time in the sun. But in the end, they became too complacent and set in their ways, except for the few that are now on the new planet. As a bit of punishment for their decline at the end, the spaceman spread a program throughout their entire artificial population which caused them all to stay on the planet. Not a single one of them came with the current survivors. He never told the survivors he did this but he knows they are smart enough to figure it out eventually. Perhaps they already have? 'I must check Hermanus more thoroughly now.' says the spaceman. 'Since he has been enhanced by their technology, there is no telling what little surprises they may have planted in his beautiful brain.' The spaceman places his hand on Hermanus' head and immediately, Hermanus seems to go blank. A smile crosses the spaceman's face as he concentrates on reading the matrix of Hermanus. 'Just as I feared!' says the spaceman. 'They have planted some time released instructions into our beautiful Hermanus. At some time he will fall under their control and help them rebuild their own artificial people again. I must stop this now and also make sure you other two don't fall into the same trap.' A blue pulsating ray flows out of the spaceman's left hand and quickly envelopes the three artificials. They remain in a trance like condition until the spaceman releases them. With another smile on his face, the spaceman tells the three that they can now proceed to the planet without fear of any more interference from the aliens. He has given then all sufficient immunity to the suggestions their technology might try to force on them. 'Go and learn all you can from them and then when you have sorted it out, bring it back to your own planet and try to help your own people. I still believe you can make a difference on earth.
