After the welcoming ceremony on the new world for the 25 earth people, Archie, Skylar and Reed return to the moon base. Archie has Hermanus accompany them as well since he wants Hermanus to give Michelangelo and Alexander the benefit of what he has learned on the new planet. Once back on the moon base, Hermanus, Michelangelo and Alexander, the three enhanced botcydroids, use a spare room to discuss what Hermanus has learned. And, Hermanus has a great deal to tell them. To begin with, his work learning how to interact with humans has progressed a great deal. He has learned diplomacy and tact as well as the ability to tell when someone is lying or telling the truth. And furthermore, he is beginning to develop human-like feelings. 'You really must come back with me to the planet!' he tells his co-workers. 'I will have Sir Girard take you to the space ship where you can really get programmed properly!' 'That sounds great!' says Alexander. 'But just what did they give you on their spaceship that we didn't give you here on the moon base?' 'You have no idea!' says Hermanus. 'The people on the new planet are a very old race. Even though most of their civilization was lost by the super nova when they came here, these few survivors of their race still retain a great deal of knowledge which they keep safe on their space ship. They shared some of it with me. It has given me an incredibly different outlook on life. I believe cultivating their friendship will be good for earth. If we continue working at developing this friendship between our planet and theirs, this information of theirs will go to great lengths in helping solve many problems currently plaguing earth. But what they have already given me is a great start. And if the two of you can get their help as well, we will be able to make significant improvements to human life on earth. So what do you say?
