Description

A mech from the view of an infantry soldier laying in tall grass. I was just fooling around here. Texturing on the mech could be bettertoo, but it's ok. Hope you enjoy this pic, even though it's so simple. Mauler was made by Pawel. Blurr was post work in Photoshop. 1600x1200: http://www.mektek.net/images2/whitefeather/creepy2br.jpg Comments welcome!

I like the POV on this one, and that texture looks very rusty and used. Good one, Whitefeather. He looks....capable!!!!

This is great work. I second the point about POV. . .usually, these things end up looking small and static. . .you've conveyed the essence-- its big, lumbering, moving, and menacing. The foreground/bacground blur help. . .lighting, textures, environment are all consistent. Great work

I've just spent the past 2 or 3 minutes trying to find something wrong in this - anything at all - and I can't find a thing. POV is original and powerful, the dark and forbidding sky is fantastic, the focus on the 'bot is perfect. This is a wonderful work of art.

Mech's texture well represents a lot of wear and tear from nonstop operation. You've challenged a difficult composition. Well done!

WOW! So dramatic! He certainly looks like he has been slugging through some pretty rough terrain! Great job, Whitefeather!
