Description

Greetings Folks, Taken at the D-Day Show at Duxford and showing a Typhoon FRG4 (in D-Day stripes but angle bit wrong to see).. This is a learning curve post using again, the new Smith Micro AKVIS System, no they aren't paying me, but boy! Its damned good lol This is using both that system and finished with Picasa 3+ result - this effect! This shows just how much heat is thrown out of these things.. And this is cropped! Just gone on the HMForcesGroup on DA as well.. Kept big for screensaver use! Rob

Ha…by the title I was expecting a P-47 Thunderbolt and P-38 Lightning. Great contrast against those cool clouds of the Typhoon FRG4 barreling in for a strafe job, Rob.

I don't see thunder and I don't hear flame, but I see two monstruos red eyes looking at me. Is it a new breed of terror owl? Er, what did you say? A plane? A Typhoon? Sounds like we all have to head for the nearest storm shelter! Now I'm being silly again (and Rendo has STILL not gotten a content advisory/warning for silliness!). Unusual angle, Rob. Glad you were able to get this and post it. Must have been a very fast fly by. Keep up the good work! :-)

That's an awesome shot, Rob! The heat ripples are just in-your-face - and what a great view of the AB's all fired up! I bet that was ear-splitting! Super cool photo, mate - keep 'em coming!
