Description
Well after my recent time spent in hospital, the time seemed right to get out and start building myself up again. A quick check online revealed the Cruise Ship 'MARINA' is in port en-route to Dublin. The sky is leaden, but it's quite warm, so a nice gental stroll down to the Prom and along to Seacombe Ferry and home again....about 2.5 miles round trip, not too taxing. I was getting some shots when I heard the sound of rotars, a spotlight in the grey distance 'suggested ' the Police helo. At first I ignored it.....but it got closer and louder until it was there at tree top height and decending. Not the Police, the North West Air Ambulance....touching down in the car park of the Emergency Services Training College next to Seacombe Ferry....suddenly my photo haul doubled.... I returned home tired but happy, not a bad couple of hours ' strolling '......Now I'm off down to The Plant...to see how Dora is coming along..... I'll let you know...

Wow! A helicopter in practically your own backyard. How Cool!!! 2.5 miles. I can just about ride my bicycle that far (LOL) with my bad knees and back. I did a dedi for debbielove yesterday that I think you might like, and read the comment by our old fried T.Rex, you should be interested. Keep up the good attitude and rehab.

Aw, Neil. GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK! Can I shout any louder? Hm... that ship looks familiar. Is it the one with hidden missiles and cannons? And that red bug-eyed monster. I do hope you had a large can of bug spray available. One never knows what these huge dragon flies can be up to! You're off to the Plant (already)? Well, that suggests you're all rested, or sick and tired of being sick. I don't blame you. Every time I'm sick I get restless like mad towards the end - can't stand my bed, my pajamas, my food, the air in my apartment, my medications, GAACK! So now, take it easy so you don't get sick again! Keep up the good work! :-) Kitty's looking intently ay my keyboard and fingers, so I better sign off or become dinner.
