My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!Â

I like the composition you have created Tara.

Maybe a cream separator? Whatever it is, it's cool. Love the chicken.

Happy Birthday Chip! Great image, Tara

Very interesting and I like the dark tones. The milking jar is fascinating. You have a good eye, Tara.

That gleaming glass container looks like something out of a grade B sci-fi movie. I can imagine that chicken being sucked into it & disappearing into another dimension...or turning into a giant chicken...or a tiny chicken...or a chicken salad...or an armadillo...

Cool photo....

I will add my congratulations on the impressive placement of the chicken. And that glass 'thingy' should be sitting in a modern living room, perhaps with a light bulb in it. A terrific image. I really like the reflections in the glass and the overall look of this.

I think the glass thing is an old terrarium leftover from the early 1970s...I used to have one (got it as a wedding gift for my first marriage!) I wonder what ever happened to it? hmmmm... Anyway, this makes a great dedi for Chip, if I know him he'd have put the chicken inside the glass bubble! Great work!

The chicken doing a careful balancing act there, like walking a tightrope or just doing a joyous little chicken-dance for Chipka in honour of his birthday - I like the latter idea actually best ;)) and I would like to extend my best wishes for a "Wonderful Birthday Celebration" today and always ... a stupendous mix of photos, which gives this a mysterious twist and something to think about - no doubt Chipka has a million of his own ideas, or interpretations to explain some things, the only way he can ! BB BTW - I think this glass container could have also been used for fermenting 'something' (?) - maybe ? but then again, there is no copper-tubing to substantiate the idea ? ;P

Cool photo...love the chicken. I also think the glass thing is part of an old fashioned milking system. And finally, Happy Birthday, Chip.

I buy the milking theory. Love adding the chicken. Goes to prove there is a use for almost everything in our files:) Love your trademark warm glow.

I like the glass thing.... I WANT the glass thing!! Whatever it is, it's wonderful! A great capture, Tara! Adding the chicken was a cool idea - I had to look a second time after reading your description.... :-D

Awesome capture!

I'm finally getting 'around to seeing this: and it's marvelous! I love the composition and the colors and the whole balance of the image! How perfect and thank you for the dedication! So much has happened since my last post! Renderosity is all rebooted and stuff and well...the newfangled layout is far better to the presentation of images like this! I love the warmth of it and the whole fun/mysterious/fun element as well as the little avian person too! Thank you!!! This is stunning. Oh, and I have a new job and Corey has had eye surgery (but he had complications, so I've been helping with his recovery). THANK YOU for this!
