My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Beautiful vista. These tufa formations are fascinating and it must have been quite an adventure to visit this lake!

Thank you for sharing your view and pictures of Mono Lake

You've captured the unique & desolate beauty of Mono Lake perfectly in this shot. I'm wondering if it's ever been used as a location for an end of the world film?

Lovely layers of different mediums making a beautiful shot.

Maybe its just me but when I read your title I immediately thought of Don Ho's hit recording of 'Tiny Bubbles'. Tiny bubbles In the wine Make me happy Make me feel fine I agree with others. This is an impressive landscape and you've captured it very well. Thanks for sharing.

When they are small like these it looks like the remains of a bubble bath around the edge...lovely shot!

... and now I have learned something about the calcium/carbonate limestone - simply amazing stuff ... thanks for the link Tara, there is sooo much to learn about our planet and here we are already learning even more now - about another planet: 'Pluto' ;) a fine panorama shot indeed, 'it's as clear as mud' (an old Ozzie definition! ;))) BB

I love all the layers and colors in this shot; guess those big tufas have to start out just like the rest of us!!

A fantastic place to photograph and you did it beautifully :)

With a little imagination, one could see this as a busy harbor full of ships coming and going... Or maybe it's just something in my pizza... A great shot, and a wonderful series on Mono Lake, Tara. Now I want to go there and shoot some aerial photos.
