Description
I stopped doing online dedis for a while, to give myself a rest. Instead, I've been sending images privately...But I made an exception for Chip (chipka), since I don't have his address.
I've stopped doing long texts for the same reason (they took me hours)---but in this dedi, the words mean the same. They're just a little shorter...So:
We all know Chip's a fabulously talented soul: He writes wondrous tales, and makes blazing, creative photographs, and fabulous blends and 2D images. And, for me, after his vast explorations and incredible sense of imagination and humanity, his tales have exquisite moments of the most touching tenderness and love. I don't think Chip would call himself a "love-story" writer---but the love in his work is as touching as any I've ever read.
To top it off, he's a terrific, gentle and very kind soul. What more can I say?
Happy birthday, Chip! I'm pleased to join the others here who've given you beauty for your birthday. This is my 'painting' of a late July night over Agara...and what the skies must look like when two of your characters make a deep connection. May incredible connections come your way always. Many blessings to you, you're a great gift to us all,
Mark

This is interesting, Mark. I feel like there's a scene hiding in this abstract that I can't quite make out. I can almost see a horse or donkey in a tuxedo reaching out to shake someone's hand, but it doesn't quite resolve (or make sense). I suspect others will find some things in here that are less ridiculous. Happy Birthday to Chip!

Fascinating stuff in here!

Good heavens, Harry thought to himself….what does this square inset within a square supposed to represent? Voodoo dolls and amulets cavorting in deep space? Oh well, whatever it is, still more testimony in Mark's ability to create such cool and esoteric images; this another splendid concept for birthday dedication purposes. I'm sure that your friend Chip will appreciate it no end. And, I'm glad that you have chosen to shorten your narratives, immaculate as they are/were, in order to save time and energy. Your shortened versions will carry the same wonderful impact and meaning.

This is marvelous! I know how much Chip will like this. Anyone who knows Agara and the way Chip writes characters will see the beauty and romance of the Agaran night sky in this. A place where dill custard and beautiful timepieces reign, where mystery lives in every ordinary thing, and the Number 8 train arrives on a schedule known only to those who ride. This beautiful piece of art is a perfect accompaniment to a deep, loving, and classic Agaran romance, and is just what I would expect to see if I were walking along the river with my lover, feeling the mud between my toes.

Had we such a sky by night here, I would never sleep. :-) What a fantastic imagination this opens for. Love it, Mark. I am sure Chip will love it too. :)

A most beautiful and other-worldly painting for Chip's birthday. Chip is a one-of-a-kind unique spirit and fantastic writer. I'm sure he and his characters will love this.
