Description

I've had Ralphie nearly seven years and it's only the last few months I've been able to let him off to paddle on his own. His nervousness made him scared that other dogs might attack him. But now he wades out into the river and 'communes with nature'! It gives me great pleasure to see him calmer and enjoying the moment. In this longer shot, Here, you can see lots of fishes circling round him.

I am glad that he can now enjoy nature and feel a bit clamer. I am sure it has a lot to do with a kind owner.

You can see that he is none too sure about the whole thing. Great shot.

You will have to teach him to fish for his supper.

In his defense he has had a few 'dust ups' over the years. Let's hope foxes cant SCUBA dive!!!!!! What a lovely photo.

Both images are wonderful, especially with the story about Ralph. So glad that he can relax in the waters. Is Ralph a rescue? and how old is he? I'm trying to wrap my mind around his nervousness and the only conclusion I can come up with is that before you had him, he was attacked. it's the only explanation I can come up with based on what you've said so far.

As we age some of us give up useless things like fear. This looks like a good start. A wonderful picture of Ralph. Let's hope he continues to improve and one day become fearless.

Seven years? My god, how long have I known you??? I remember when you got him. SO glad to hear he's calming down a little bit!

These two photos made my heart sing. No major damage left over from Ralph's fox fight and he is at ease swimming with the fishes. Way to live life Ralph!

OH, How happy I am, that he is less fearful noe. It took him so many years. I also remember when you got him. WOW! So many years have gone since then.
