Description
Greetings Folks,
This is for Big T!.. He wanted more Jaguars and as I mentioned there are lots at Cosford.. This is by far the most famous and spectacular one.. Nicknamed 'Spotty', wonder why..
It is COVERED in badges, writing and signed by the last pilot to fly it (as they all are here..).
It is truly wonderful and on very rare occasions this does run..
The badges are those of all the units that were once Jaguar units, those are twice the number of RAF Fighter Squadrons now..
On an aside and a note of massively the Government has screwed up again, the Indian Government has just extended the in service life of there 120 Jaguars to into the next decade..
They now have state of the art glass cockpits and top line radar.. More stuff than you can shake a hat at! Just read an article of them..
Windows 10 just came down.. Mmmm? Will let you know what happens..
Enjoy hanks for comments etc..

Nothing against the aircraft but I'm not sure if I like this livery!! Nothing wrong with the shot Rob.

Is that a Jaguar or a Leopard? Uh, no such plane as a Leopard. So I must assume the Jaguar name on the wing pod is correct! This is a very interesting, and unusual paint scheme. And such big teeth! I see several girls in red jackets. Are they some sort of hostesses? I also see men and women in light blue shirts and dark pants/skirts. Also hosts? Or technical staff? And then some in camo pants and yellow top - emergency staff? The plane and a lot of the people there look very interesting. Now, thanks a LOAD for the dedication and the post! I see the Royal Air Farce (sorry, that was SO tempting. I mean "Force") have a sense of humor despite the cut backs and spending money on other's air forces. But India sure needs the best, considering who she has as neighbor. But that doesn't mean neglecting one's own defense. Rant finished. Keep up the good work! :-) (DRAT! Now I have the urge to buy an Airfix Jaguar!)

Almost forgot - check the air craft pages on YouTube. I did to unwind before leaving work. Some great shots there! Enjoy!

The more I see...the more I want to go there...sigh..sad day in deed when all our best aircraft are either mothballed or scrapped. Wonder how much it cost India to upgrade / extend their Jaguars.....compared to the cost of Typhoons and Lightning II ??... but then...that sort of thinking upsets the "greasy palm / backhander" brigade....Fantastic shot mate...though I feel those two erks on the left knew you wanted the shot and could have gotten out of the way.....if they'd wanted to, the guy on the very left looks like he's leaning back into the shot :-) ( Cool hanger by the way....may have to build one of them, any other pics with that in....I know you don't snap buildings....just another reason I should go there :-)

Great colour scheme.

Oh wow, tonnes of wild goings-on here, with colors, objects and markings that won't quit. The Jaguar is covered with worms! Great for airshows I suppose. In any event, a nice busy dedication to your friend, T.rex.

Well, you can't say it isn't one of a kind! Cool plane and pic.

How cool, neat shot.

That is one cool paint job on that Jag! It's almost like she's saying "In yer face...... I don't need camouflage, because if you shoot something at me, I'll just dodge it, then come back and kick your butt!" A super shot, Rob!
