In our garden today and this one let me take dozens of close ups. The flower is a hebe.

Terrific! I have to prune the Hebes to keep them from getting leggy and encourage them to be full of flowers , but have to be careful not to be speared myself! It's worth it for these pretty visitors, though.

Very accommodating of this little creature. But then, seeing your garden, you have more than repaid the favor. A pretty butterfly and the colors in this image are beautiful.
