Description

We went over the plan one more time, Peachfuzz would fly the MiG-3 and I would follow in the AC-47. Once he landed at Smogorski Airfield, Peachfuzz would check everything was above board while I circled. If Peachfuzz was happy, he'd signal me and I'd land to make the 'exchange'. Peachfuzz then explained how the remote control app for the AC-47's miniguns worked on my i-pad....then we set off. It was hard to believe we were on our way to meet Gen. Anatol Alexis Gogal, hero of the battle for Stalingrad, the first Russian to take a dump on Hitlers desk, ( and that was in 1943 ) and former head of the KGB. At one time Gen. Gogal was the most feared man on the planet....in some circles....he still is. Peachfuzz made a perfect landing and taxied to dispersal, after a couple of minutes he signalled the all clear and I began my descent........
