My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

This is gorgeous, and you caught that wonderful light absolutely! I'm still looking through all my shots (near 600!!!) from yesterday. It will be a while before I post, though, not until they fix the thumbnail issue.

The words 'deep', 'rich' and 'mysterious' seem to apply here. A superb atmosphere. I love the light on the tree. California is also on fire. Hoping El Nino will help when it arrives.

There's a sense of hidden danger to this image. Hope you remain well. Them forest fires can change directions quickly

This is both strange and familiar. As you know we share a similar climate, and I live in a town famous for pines and other conifers. Yet this makes me feel as if I am about to find I'm lost.
Thankfully we know you weren't!

Light, light, light...it is all about the light:) I like the depth within this view. Nice job. What a fun day.

I am really sorry, so much forest is burning down over there. It is so sad when you get attacked so badly of mother nature. But this is a fabulous shot with this mysterious light.

I have thought about our RR friends in WA and OR.... glad that you and Bill are safe and hope that continues. Lovely image, Tara and how great that you got to have a day out with special friends!

Superb capture of the get together Tara.
God bless.

Excellent lighting in a difficult place. Be prudent with those fires. :)

Wow, so great you had this meeting together with dear friends and family. Your photo looks great with spot on 'the nose' of that tree. So sorry about the fires, but lucky you, you live on the 'right' side. (I'm jealous because I want a meeting with Lucinda (and James) toooooooo!)

What a beautiful photo, Tara! I love the light on the tree trunks - this is wonderful! Sounds like you all had a great time!
Yeah, those fires are awful. I was chatting with Faemike on the phone Saturday, and he was teling me about all the smoke and haze in the air.
Looking forward to seeing you two!

I hope that the fire is now finished.
