My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Well, considering that in the past, when someone brought me a stick, it was intended to be applied to my back end... And I don't mean server, either! :-P
A wonderful, detailed photo, Tara!

You got a great shot, wonderful detail; I love all these different lifeforms sharing a small piece of real estate!

An outstanding close up and another example of peaceful co-existence.

The perfect gift, I just love this sort of thing.
Rather sadly, although I often can't recall the names of people I should know, I can remember the Latin name of the lichen. Oh dear!

Wonderful lichen on a stick. Such things are also amazing me when I see them. Such a lovely shot :)

Great lichen macro - sharp, crisp & with very appealing textures. I used to find these all over my property when I lived in the Applegate...
