Pretty sure it's a Ford. :P
...............
Here's some information about the new Gallery Search feature:
First of all, you should know that the reason you can't find the old search feature any more is because it's gone. Here's what we have now.
There is a search box on the left-hand side of the black bar at the top of your screen. It says, in gray letters, "Search Marketplace." Unless you want to buy something for your 3D work, or whatever, this isn't going to help you at all.
There's a second search box in the white bar that says, in gray letters, "Search Galleries." That's the one you want.
Let's say you want to look for pictures of Andrea's dog, Fritz.
In that search box, type Fritz, and hit ENTER, or the Submit button. Once the page loads, you'll see everything in Renderosity with the word Fritz in it.
If you want to narrow it down to photographs, you'll now need to click the box on the left-hand list that says "Photography" and wait for THAT page to load.
This will give you a pretty decent batch of images to look at, and most of them will be pictures of Andrea's dog.
If you want to narrow it further, you can now click on the genre box marked "People," and find only pictures of Fritz hanging out with people.
There's one more thing you can do, and that's to sort what you've got by date order, relevance, or most commented, viewed, or rated. Look on the right-hand side of the page, just above the first row of images, and you'll see a drop-down box where you can make that choice.
Every choice you make causes a new page to load. You're doing this one at a time and waiting between steps.
...............
Now let's say you want to search your own gallery for pictures you posted in 2011 of that fabulous clematis you had blooming on your fence that year.
Sorry, my friend, you're sh*t outta luck on that one.
You can put "clematis" in the search box and hit ENTER, click on Photography and Flowers/Plants, and you can even put them in date order by changing the "sort by" selection on the right-hand side of the top of the gallery page, but you can't see only 2011, and you can't see only your own pictures. You will, however, see a bunch of absolutely gorgeous photography! It just might not be what you were looking for.
..........
If you didn't use the old sort feature and weren't missing it, or if this new one gives you everything you want, go in peace and don't worry about it.
But if you don't like this, or think it could be improved, there's a thread in the Forum about the search feature where you can voice your concerns and/or opinions.

Firstly, thankyou for some more great info, Tara, I didn't know any of that!
But more importantly, I LOVE these teeth. He could do with a new toothbrush, but what a snarl!

Uh, is THAT what you and Bill have been traveling all around the US in? Just joking! Nice photo of this old fellow. I wonder when it was manufactured.
Thanks also for re-uploading your info about the Rendo site.
Keep up the good work!

I notice two little red horns...must be a little devil of a truck. lol
Yes, I too will use your link and put my two cents in concerning expanding the search feature. I DO Want to search within my own gallery to build albums, find single old shots for oddball reasons, etc., etc.
Excellent info. Loved our time at Jerome!

We nave cartoon characters here in the UK called Wallace and Grommit and this truck is the spitting image of Wallace !!
Super shot and lots more useful info.

It has a really unique & interesting shape from the POV you chose. And I really like the rust patterns. I wonder if they will ever come out with a new cars with "pre-rusted" faux paint jobs - I bet there are people out there who would buy them...
The old search was so much more useful & I was really impressed at how fast & efficient it was. Like the loss of EXIF data (which I personally didn't use, but which I know others found valuable), the loss of search functionalities is a perfect example of how to annoy users when "upgrading" a website - by arbitrarily removing useful features for no good reason...

This is a wonderful shot, Tara! I'm not a big fan of Fords, but I love this one!
Yeah, I love how they've made this site "more intuitive and a more personalized member experience..." What a crock. I can't even figure out how to add credits for more than one vendor...
This site is a fustercluck.....

How nice to see such an old car that is still happily smiling :) Wonderful shot and I am not sure I agree with Photosynthesis. Having a very rusty looking car, would maybe trigger the police to think it IS actually rusty :) Thank you for more useful info, Tara. It is very kind of you :-)

a bit of TLC needed

a wonderful old car !
Wolfenshire Online Now!
I have a lot of suggestions to improve this interface... most of which require words not fit for public.
Love the old truck.

Ford? Ya think? Cool portrait of this hardworking old fellow! Bet he's got a few bugs in his teeth.

Jeff nailed it! I wonder where Grommit has got to. A fantastic character portrait of a grizzled veteran.

Not worried about the search It's the activity feed that gets me no tick box or delete button to get rid of the ones you have looked at and commented on and the thing I miss most is the emails to let me know someone has put up pics or complemented on mine and having to go edit before being able to upload after previewing instead of a single click to upload.
Great pic though.

coool capture, Tara!
