Here's some navigation information for you today:
See the black bar across the top of the screen? Sort of in the middle, you'll see a drop-down menu for Galleries and one for Community. There are others, but I don't care about them, and I'm not going to learn about what they're for on the off chance that someone I know might be interested. There are limits on where I'm willing to go, here. :P
If you click on Galleries, you'll see that the third choice down is "Sections." That would be the Pages Formerly Known As Galleries. Like 2D Gallery, Photography, Gallery, Writer's Gallery. Now they're called Sections. We are now the Photography Section.
If you click on one of the buttons you find there, it will take you to that gallery. Ummm ... sorry ... Section. Now you can browse only the section you are interested in seeing.
Genres are still genres though, and if you choose Genre instead of Section, you'll see buttons for choosing whatever genre you're interested in.
If you choose "What's New," you can go there and verify that the image you just loaded is actually on Renderosity. For some reason there's a delay with the image showing up in your personal gallery, but it should show up on the "What's New" page right away.
At the bottom of the list under "Galleries" you'll find "Artists." If you click that, it will take you to a page that displays a random selection of artists in non-alphabetical order, for no apparent reason. However! In the top right-hand corner of that page, you'll see a search box. Type in the name of the artist you're looking for, and hopefully you'll see a choice pop up that's what you were looking for, and you can get to that person's gallery from there. For example, if you want to see Maria's gallery, type in CavalierLady (make sure it's one word, or you won't find her), and you'll see her familiar avatar.
There are other choices you can make under the Galleries tab. Click 'em and find out if you care where they go! :)
The Community dropdown menu is where you'll find the Forum, among other things. Browse around in the Forums and see if there's anything going on you're interested in. The Community Center is where all the conversations are going on about the new web design. This is where you can give the admins your opinions, report bugs and glitches, and ask questions. Other Forum sections are pretty self explanatory.
Hope this helps, and that you can find what you're looking for! :)

It does look like a dance. They seem to be almost caressing each other. Very nice composition and colors.

These tree trunks make me wistful for the days when I should be wanting to get up there somehow!
My brother would usually manage it and I would get halfway.
You are very kind to write these help notes, Tara. As I remarked the other day, it wouldn't have been too difficult for someone who works for this site to do it in the first place.

Entwining love!! Excellent shot and well seen Tara.

Superb capture Tara.
As far as i could read between the lines there is more unhappy artists than happy artist.
Some old timers which includes an professional web site designer is thinking of leaving Renderosity.
It is awfully quiet regarding the uploads of my favorite artist, more quiet then before the new changes to Renderosity.
I miss Ronnies uploads and hope to hear where he will be active after leaving Renderosity.
What i can say and know if the customers or whoever is partaking in your website is not happy, there must be something seriously wrong with a website and you will loose many customers or those who partake on your website.
God bless.

Yes, they really look like they are dancing. Very well seen and captured, Tara.
And thank you again for taking your time to teach us, where we can find what. It is a big big issue for many of us. You are a PAL :)

wonderful power of nature

Beautiful image of the trees and branches. My Firefox bookmark goes straight to the photo gallery....ummm.... section, so this is one new change I don't have to worry about figuring out. But hopefully your kind helpful article will help everyone else. :)

A creative & appealing composition. Renderosity should be paying you for giving out these useful tips...

A slow and stately pavane, graceful as only nature can do it. Beautiful!

Very lyrical indeed, Tara! What a lovely photo!
Very thoughtful and kind of you to provide all this helpful information - I agree, Rendo should pay you - or make you an Admin! LOL
Oh, I know about the forums - been there many times in the last 2 or 3 weeks.
Keep an eye on my gallery - I think the "programmers" are about to get a surprise visit from someone.... wink

Stately. Have not a clue what these trees are but they are most photogenic.
