Having delivered the B-26 Marauder to ShareCG, the crew and I returned on public transport.....never again ! 2 trains, 1 bus and a Tuk-Tuk. All I wanted was a soak in a hot bath, but first....what was General Manager up to ? As I approached the hanger, the guard raised his hand and said " That's far enough, no entry without express permission of Gen. Manager ". I was taken aback, " Do you know who I am ? I'm neiwil, I own this place, the General is only here because of me.....come to that, so are you ". The guard was adamant, " Sorry but I have my orders ", I was just about to slug this 'Kevlar clad codpiece ' with my ' bone dome ' when the General appeared at the hanger door. Spotting me he strode over, familiar cigar clenched between his lips, ever present .50 Desert Eagle clenched in his right hand. As he approached the General indicated the guard should raise the barrier saying " That's OK Captain I'll deal with this ". I was about to vent my displeasure at being barred entry to part of my own Plant but the General cut me off.." Wilson, glad you're back, do you have any sand, yellow, desert paint ?". I raised an eyebrow, "Wilson ?....if you're going to be formal it's Mr Wilson..", the General ignored my comment, " the paint, have you got any ?" he repeated. I looked past him to the hanger, " Yes, Stan's got at least a thousand liters of every colour known to man....and some that haven't been invented yet......what's it for ?" I enquired. The General coughed, " Can't say, hush hush and all that ", I fixed the General with my best stare and said " If I can't see in the hanger, you'll have to order the paint through the usual channels". The General blustered.." but the paint factory is tied up producing 50,000 liters of lurid pink paint for Kim Kardashian, they can't fill my order for 3 weeks ". I shrugged, " so what's it to be ?" I asked, the General had little choice, taking a whistle from his pocket he gave three sharp blasts. The hanger doors slid open to reveal several sleek shapes, my ghast was truly flabbered, turning to the General I asked " Planning a little war somewhere ?". The General gave one blast on his whistle and the hanger doors slid shut, " The paint " he said, I turned to walk away saying " I'll get some sent over ". It was only later, as I soaked in my hot bath, a rather disturbing thought came to me. Peachfuzz has sort of become my Chief Test Pilot since Tailspins ' non-death ', with nothing to do, Tailspin has been seconded to General Manager at M.A.D.....the General wouldn't give Tailspin an armed Jaguar to test.....would he ??!!!
