Description

I arrived at The Plant to find a stack of mail on my desk, the first letter I opened was enough to ruin my day...our local Health & Safety nuisance Peter Petty is due for his annual inspection. It appears The Duckpond is in for close scrutiny this year and so it was, I found myself sitting on the dock of the bay. Peachfuzz went through the pre-dive checks and I boarded the Orca, with Capt Squint and Gloria's niece Truly Wellstacked. Truly hasn't been on one of these 'expeditions ' before and I thought the exposure would do her good ( her exposure didn't do me any harm either). I seem to recall the last time I did one of these pre-inspection dives I found the Douglas Dauntless, I wonder if there's anything interesting waiting for me this time. Just prior to departure, I heard Tailspin is taking a Jaguar up....I just hope it's not the one we passed on the way to the boat.....it was armed with Martel Anti-Shipping Missiles......

Very nice view on the lake. Hope the life preservers are in good working order with Tailspin overhead. Excellent work!

Looking at that view climbing up the ladder a bigger boat is the last thing on his mind ;-)

what a view. I watched a travel show and the hostess was very beautiful and wore sexy clothing. the tour guide looked straight ahead never glancing at her cleavage. I guess he was afraid of being fired if he looked or his possible spouse may kill him

Nice work on these, Neil. (I applaud your taste in artwork by the way.) The views from the Orca are extraordinarily breathtaking it seems, but unfortunately tempered by the thoughts of Tailspin/aircraft/live ordinance combination.

OH, MY! WHO was the smart-ass that armed that Jaguar, knowing Tailspin was around? I don't need to guess how this pre- inspection is going to end. Unless you make a fantastic underwater find and he decides to blow it to smithereens in order to cover something up. Or, he blows up the boat with the Health & Safety nuisance Peter Petty on board, of course, quite by accident! Or, is Gen'l. Mis-Management going to get HIS planes involved in a wild goose(? Duck?) chase of a strange unidentified flying something-or-other over the Pond while inspection is going on? Or have I got my wires crossed? Great series of images! Love it! Keep 'em comin'! :-)

Love the start of this adventure- now I'll have to go back and read the others again. A very impressive view in the third frame!
