A really clear, sharp closeup of some molecular beads and chains, all packed together but also spaced out according to some laws that we don't fully know yet. The beads are little globes, some of them have actual patterns (like Saturn), and they glow beautifully. And they're all set into these metal-like ropes that weave in and out of the beads, and form very geometric shapes (despite all the curves and nooks and crannies). It's a closeup of something that seems to go on forever---I can't help but think of molecular structures, seen through an electron-microscope---and we're given a mere glimpse into this long chunk of microscopic architecture. Beautifully done, with sweet lighting crossing the image, leaving swaths in shadow as well. I really like this, Barb! (Half my favs---since the "change" here at RR---don't show up in my gallery; and none of them are reported to any of you. And we can't add text to the favs. So until I figure out how to get them to show, I'm leaving them out for now. But know that these 2 images are both favs for me. I'll "like" the image, at least. I don't know why they did all this to RR, but that's been screamed about for a while now, so I'll let it be. Just know why I'm not doing a formal fav today---your work is a fav despite all that.)
