I'm back for just 2 comments in each gallery, but I'll do more when I return. Not easy to choose just 2 here, because you've posted a real array of images in the last few months. But I couldn't "not" do this, since it's of a big impressive high rise area, which feels right at home to anyone who lives in a huge city (as I do).
Very impressive capture of the sheer glass presence of buildings like this. And also of the cloistered "crammed" feeling that certain views give. While these buildings can be so expansive they take one's breath away, your crop has made them all close in on us, like a big hovering huddle (which is also part of our experience of high rises). Most of those background buildings is in silvers and gray---I don't know if you colored the background buildings that way or they are genuinely silver and gray, but it's a most effective presence behind the sea-green of the front facade. However you did it, it's perfect.
And that front facade definitely tells us we're entering a big important world. With the name of the corporation on the bottom, the buildings behind it loom and look down; it's most impressive. And the stark white sky sets it all off. A very intuitive vision of glass and steel high rises and the power they exert over the world. And that tiny---what---newspaper box? Ie, the little red box on the bottom that looks like it carries newspapers? It's just great down there, it's great that you included it: It's the one colorful spot in the whole looming shot; and a reminder that there are real people using these buildings. Really finely done, Barb, great crop and capture.
