Sorry Richard - all I can say is WHAT the HECK is that? Definitely not the Oakland Bay Bridge I've passed over so many times. Is this some new thing they've constructed after the Loma Prieta quake? I recall a section fell down on the cantilever part of the bridge during that quake. Or is this a new bridge? I recall reading about a new bridge to be constructed due to all the traffic across the Bay. Nice photo. The sweeping lines to the top of the tower really leads the eye skyward. Keep up the good work! :-)
