Third and final shot of the Tachinid Fly or Feather-Legged Fly (Trichopoda pennipes) that stopped by one day this past spring. Thanks very much for your views and comments.

great macro and a beautiful fly. I have seen a hummingbird moth one time in my garden. strange how they visit but do not return

All the above, plus a great closeup pov of the beautifully patterned winged insect, seemingly headed your way, Maria. I'm envious of your wide variety of insects, whereas we have only ants and barely perceptible arachnids here.
