Description
Captured 9/27/15 @ 7:09 am, about 2.5 miles from home, while most other people were still asleep. Since it was a Sunday, there were barely any vehicles to further enhance my photos. Fog is such a rarity around here, along with rain, that I was determined to snap a few shots before it burned off. And it doesn't take long to burn off with all our heat, which reached about 95 Fahrenheit degrees later in the day.
A foggy day in London Town
Had me low and had me down
I viewed the morning with alarm
The British Museum has lost its charm
How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
Well, this isn't London Town, and it's three days later and still in the upper 90s Fahrenheit as I type this.
Please give it a ZOOM.
Toodles.

Fantastic capture my friend !

That sure is thick fog, and a bit late in the year for upper 90's, Harry. Hope your weather cools off soon. Nice atmospheric shot.

Good job. Love the mysterious atmosphere that always comes with fog.

You've captured the misty atmosphere perfectly. Superb shot!

A really excellent shot of a foggy day on the street. :-)

I love the fog too, this is a wonderful view of it, and all you need is one car to highlight it perfectly. Shouldn't your temps be coming down a bit by now? Stay inside with the A/C and rest that bad back of yours!

a really soupy and satin-y fog shot, with sheen like a green-blue ceramic. Love the tone you got, and the soft apparition of the few cars and lights, etc. The angle lets the cross street go back into oblivion. And the lights shimmer in the fog, and feel so lonely. Again, you shot with a big swath of street in front, which makes the scene look like it's across a sea. In angle, color, and feel it's a very rich shot. And hard to believe it was that late in the morning, because it feels like a late day shot before a storm. More rich fog work from you, Harry. (Ours rarely ever get this murky or mysterious...)
