Description
Boo!
I thought you might like to see this, taken at The Shuttleworth Collection, 4th October 2015, this was the Vulcans final full public display..
A specially extended, and ever so slightly rule breaking one at that, that brought cheers from the sold out crowd..
Due to restrictions placed on vintage jets after the tragic Shoreham aircrash, Vulcan would be unable to perform her famous Hi G rolls etc..
So, after the final flypast, setting off as many car alarms as possible, she threw the biggest possible wing-over and flew slowly out of sight..
At least 4 others around me were heard to say ' What they going to do, ground it?'
as always stunning...
I cannot promise I'll be back, I can't promise I will comment much.. I post much more on DA..
But I thought of you guys..

I can only imagine the thrill of seeing this classic beauty fly past - it must have raised goose-bumps! An outstanding photo, Rob!
Don't blame you a bit, mate. They've ruined this site with their 'revolution.' I'm still here, but becoming more active elsewhere...

It was and still is one of the best planes we owe alot to her and the ones who flew in it
