Description
Busting jungle, east of QL 13, Republic of Vietnam. We had a direct hit on a flame thrower mixing truck, from one of our own 4.2" mortars shooting on the wrong azimuth. The VC assumed we had used an old position called "Holiday Inn III" but due to the mud, we move a click south and watched the fireworks.
Daring is the call sign used by the 2nd Battalion, Second Infantry (Mechanized) of the 1st Infantry Divison

Oh, my. Photo from the real battle field I assume. Or is it an excellently constructed image using models and Photoshop to recreate the scene? Whichever, it's a fantastic overview of the field. Keep up the good work! :-)
