Description
Captured 10/5/15 @ 8:24 am, across the street from my condominium complex.
This is from the same mini storm that I posted clouds of yesterday, which deposited barely enough rain to wet your whistle. Incidentally, it hit an ovenlike 109.8 Fahrenheit/43.2 Celsius degrees in my patio today. I sure hope summer ends before it normally does at the end of October.
Arrivederci.

109.8!!! OMG. Like the raindrops glistening in the sun. I see you've listed this as #1...may be sometime before #2:)

Good grief!! It will be summer here for the next week, but not that hot! Wow. Great shot of the sparkly few raindrops you got.

I don't know how you stand the heat, Harry; I would absolutely expire! Beautiful capture of the glistening car!

I'm going backwards now (in your gallery), just to capture some of what i missed earlier. (Your wormhole piece---a couple of days ago---calls out to me as it's terrific; as do many others. But I have to comment on earlier pieces too. And btw, your shot, last night, of those balloons? You lamented that you wanted more sheen on the balloons. I understand: But the matte quality of the balloons made the shot a terrific abstract. They were so bold, almost 2 dimensional in their boldness; and the shot felt like an art installation, or a Calder mobile. It's terrific without the sheen. But let me get back to this shot, and I'll get to the more recent ones soon...)
Another terrific shot of the many worlds of a car on a street. With your morning light once more---this time making cosmic flares in several places. (The flares "splash" on these car tops.) The raindrops make a whole other textural world on this car's roof. And you have serious reflections in the back and side windows---another element in this complex shot. And then there's your angle---very dramatic, allowing cars ahead to pop into the shot like a gathering. And the line of condos (your complex) on a contrasting angle. A terrific collection of sights, all composed into a big angled sweep. Love the flares and the raindrops. I never knew how rich raindrops on chrome were until I came to this gallery. You got the high drama in this shot: I'd have likely just walked by it if I saw it in Chicago...
