Outstanding creative work and somewhat surreal. We are all unique creatures living in our own separate unique worlds and all doing the same thing.

Striking artwork, and very much your own style--I'd know this for your work anywhere!

I like the way you've used basically two colors to such advantage. Full view provides a wonderful look at your technique, as well as a few details of the image. I sat with this for a long time, and enjoyed every minute of it.

(No pilot. We were up on a really high hill with 200mm lenses.)

The weight of 'big dogs' and 'big guys' appear to be well balanced on those triangles/see-saws - and as quite often experienced, man starts to look like his pet. It seems sometimes art imitates real life in these parallel worlds. This is well thought out Nikolay and meticulously fused together, plus the colour palette make this so uniquely yours. 👌

Cheers BB

Another masterful piece from you, Nikolay, full of humor, wit, poetry, insight and masterful sense of your medium. The main guy and dog are balanced on this teeny peak---whose "bottom" may go way down below the frame, but we only see the peak. Then again, it may be just what it is: A triangle, a peak. And the guy's up there, walking on a plot of grass, with his dog---who's totally at ease, not bothered by this 'balance' he's on. And the guy isn't perturbed that he's about to step into oblivion. But I don't think there's any 'oblivion' here, anyway: Somehow the grass will just follow him. The image has the feeling of life, of how we inhabit a small patch on this earth, and that patch becomes our whole world, and we just don't fall off it very much...

Then you have two repetitions of the guy and his dog---in different hues, also on that little triangle. And one gets the sense that, if they looked wide enough, they'd find countless people with dogs walking in their own 'patch' of earth. And, to make it all more interesting, you put all of these on a surface that is spacious/ deep---it's above the treetops with clouds and sky---and yet flat: It's textured like a wall, flat as can be, with breaks in the 'plaster', and upon which these scenes unfold as upon a 2 dimensional surface. Like Macbeth's take on life, we are merely "poor players" (actors, in Shakespeare's time); or, in his "As You Like It," "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players (actors)..." These men and dogs just repeat from stage to stage as if this life were a series of unending plays, unfolding stories...You do this with such deftness and delightful lightness of touch, it dances; just like the man and dog balanced on a point. It's wonderful, Nikolay.

I never can imagine myself 'making' your images. Never. They're uniquely yours, all yours. While I'm unable to emulate many fine artists, I can at least dream of making such works. But with yours, I can't even imagine it. Your pieces come at us wholly formed, and wholly yours, as if you found them in a quarry somewhere, untouched. And you present them to us, and we all go, "yes!" That is, we recognize what you've "found". But we can't imagine making a work like them. I'm sorry I'm late getting to this, I only return here at certain times; and with the "new RR," i sometimes feel like I"m tunneling through rock. But I saw your comments---thank you, always!---and was thrilled to see another of your amazing images here. And I hope you're well and wish you a splendid rest of the fall. Great to see you here, anytime, Nikolay...
