An instant favourite Barb and unique to capture bees 'misbeehiving'. I haven't seen this type of bee before either!

you wrote that the female can mate more than once, but most don't. Given that the males die every time, I'd imagine the females would be feeling a weeeeeeee bit guilty about the whole thing! (Doesn't make for a major commitment...) But as a shot, it's wonderful: You got their entanglement just as it is, a big mass of bee-dom, all tangled around a branch. I didn't know they went at it as much as 80 minutes: I guess that would take care of the complaint about it being "too fast"! Your shot has the bees in perfect sync with the "v" of the branch, making it a big tangle; and the rest of the shot is airy and open: Just right. Wonderful capture, you had your eyes open well to capture this. And sweet balance between dark/intense hues and open light ones. (Barb, I'm starting out by doing just a couple of pieces in everyone's gallery...but I'll be back for more soon. This way I can easy my way into returning. And thank you for your always very receptive and perceptive comments on my art. I appreciate them all.)
