Seen at the lake the other day. For some reason, (or a macro lens with no I.S.) ...it's taken me ages to get a decent shot of these creatures. Thanks very much for your views and comments.

I love seeing damsel flies and dragonflies. this one is an absolute beauty and superb macro. (in Nevada on I15 close to CA there is the original Bonnie and Clyde car. at least they claim it

Beautiful capture Maria. If i want to make a shot like this, i prefer the continuous shooting mode of the camera (4 shots are automatically combined). This has often proved very useful.
