Description

The Garden of One Thousand Buddhas Missoula, Montana People leave gifts and tokens all over the garden. Stones, tiny toys, beads, marbles ... whatever seems right to them. Someone had cut flowers from the garden, which was nice. Since we were there alone most of the time, I assume it was one of the caretakers who placed the flowers. I particularly liked the ring on this Buddha's topknot, and thought the spider was a lovely, natural addition.

Looks like a fascinating place. Seems even the spider wishes to pay his respects.

Lovely shot, Tara!

I can well and truly say, that any Buddha image and their religious messages, will always be part of my innermost beliefs and perceiving Zen Buddhism teaches us the importance of living in the present. Zen, more than anything else, is about reclaiming and expanding the present moment.

Thank you Tara - for this is a stirring moment - Nirvana is the highest happiness ;)) and the little spider was a bonus :)

Stunning image. Perhaps the spider was seeking enlightenment from The Buddha. Or perhaps..... "Buddha and the Spider" by Sam Loe http://yogalab.co.nz/blog/2013/11/18/buddha-and-the-spider/
