Jill Carbonelli earned the call sign 'Keel' during a practice water retrieval mission. While maneuvering over the water the Thunder Jump aircraft she piloted got too low and she dunked the special forces team suspended on ropes below. Back at the base the team jokingly complained about their bad treatment by the hand of this 'girl' pilot. Jill is very spirited, she is a descendant of swashbuckling pirates and at times she can act like one. When she had enough of this she told them, "The next time, I'll keelhaul the lot of you all the way back to the base!" The special forces team half believed that she would and put their hands up saying, "OK Jill, just kidding, we don't want any trouble. You know we think your the best pilot!" Jill is one of the top pilots and also one of the more outlandish. She wears a bandana on every mission insisting it is part of her pirate heritage. This is of course totally against regulations and as a cadet she was constantly being put on report over it, but the only time she didn't wear one the mission almost ended in disaster. Now that she is assigned to the elite Red Diamonds squadron no one questions her about it. Out here on the embattled border planets all the pilots have some superstition or lucky charm that they believe will keep them alive. (In reality the special forces team only got their boots wet but after that incident everyone called Jill 'Keelhauler'.) ******** I changed some texture: on the aircraft made individual numbers and on the tail added a Skull with Crossed Swords (but its not really visible here). I also re-textured the FlightHelmet. On the Cyber Suit I added scuffs and scratches by replacing the bump map with one from a fiberglass material and I used a rubber mat texture for the cloth.
