I ued words like monster and enormous so I thought I'd show you what I meant. While standing there I couldn't get over the feeling the mountain was about to fall on me.

How interesting that you (and others) find it oppressive and/or impending, in a doom sort of way. To me it looks totally normal. I guess it's all what you're used to! It actually looks quite small here, in comparison to how huge it can look on a clear day from a long way away. Beautiful shot!
