Description
I would have loved to see the artist working on the exterior of this building (& this is just a small portion of the total work)...
Please zoom.

It wouldn't suit my humble abode but it sure looks great here.

Beautiful image. What a marvelous view this is - the entire building must be impressive indeed.

It's amazing that someone put so much work into this one building, and that this is just a small part of the beauty of Prague. You were so lucky to get to see it!

Spectacular. I saw these type of building art in Germany and Switzerland. It is truly amazing.

I like the way the artist painted the guys sitting on the ledge holding up the windows. What fun!

this looks to have elements from the Renaissance and later. The people holding up the windows (ala tara) have elements of Michelangelo's frescoes, in the way the artists treated flesh, the somewhat undulating nature of their skins, and their postures. (The Sistine Chapel has humans like these.) It's such a melange! You're very good at capturing head on facade shots: I find head on facade shots to be difficult. But you get their presence immediately. That's a good word for some of your facades: Immediate. And you bring forth the whites as striking reminders of windows, in what is otherwise a big pageant of human figures and presumably historical or mythic story lines. The upper paintings suggest famous people...And, cutting it off where you did makes the upper floors seem like they're flush with us. Fine work on this, Claude. (Lol, Jeff. If I had this in my apt, I would move out! It would take over the whole place...there's definitely a reason why public art is 'public'...)
