Description
The number of elaborately decorated buildings - many of them in the Art Nouveau style - in Prague is staggering. We would literally zig zag down streets, moving from one side to the other in order to get a view of the building opposite. Most have multiple statues adorning them & many had very detailed & colorful paintings. I probably took way too many photos than I should have of these, so I will dole them out in small doses. Or maybe I will combine a bunch of them into a collage if I get ambitious...

I'm sure I'd get whiplash if I went there from twisting to see everything. This is so incredibly beautiful! And there's no such thing as too many shots; you could upload them all onto Flickr in a Prague set for anyone to see all in one place if you felt so inclined! Lovely capture here.

Yes please! I'll take all the art nouveau architecture details you want to dish out. The aqua and plum with those yellow accents is enchanting, and I love the carving. The fabric of her robe is particularly satisfying.

you can post architectural shots as much as you want, one after the next: You're masterful at them. When you announced you were going away, I knew you'd come back with a slew of more wonderful architectural facades, narrow-ways, mysteries, etc. The whiteness of this is stunning. And then the details emerge out of it. The plum hues (tara) and the mild yellows, and those blues against the deep purple trim (ie, the windows) make for a beautiful display against the whites. Your symmetrical composition---symmetry being a beast---works for this shot perfectly. The contrast of highly defined lines and shapes against that faceless stark white is wonderful. It's almost an abstract. Beautiful work, Claude.
