Description

near Hot Springs I left at 10 til 5 am this morning and drove to Arkansas to see the leafs and a lake. after 615 miles I made it home 14 hours later tonight at 7 pm

whoa, you're a devoted photographer to make a trip like this, to see sights like these. And I can understand why, as the leaves won't last forever...a beautiful intimate shot of these complex trees, in such varied hues and configurations, all 'melded' in the reflections below them. I love the pier on the right, and the bit of abutment, and the path up, and a few glimpses of houses or lodges. And there's enough sky to frame the shot on top and bottom. Beautiful serene shot, Richard, in your typically sensitive yet un-intrusive style. You let the scene sing for itself, you combine artist with journalist...
