Description
A field of dreams, captured back on 4/24/12, somewhere within the vast perimeter of the neighborhood.
The name Osteospermum is derived from the Greek osteon (= bone) and Latin spermum (= seed). Osteospermums belong to the daisy family ( Compositae / Asteraceae), hence their common names: African Daisy or South African Daisy, Cape Daisy and Blue-eyed Daisy.

a field of dreams, a sea of daisies. Beautiful softness to them, don't know how you did it but they all feel slightly softened and primed for the shot, as if their hues were "purified" somehow. Beautiful shot of repetition and contrast, and all those white daisies---with a few purples---are very inviting. (With beautiful light on the leaves.) A truly lovely capture, Harry.

A beautiful shot of these flowers which all look in the same direction, to the sun. A real pleasure for the eyes.

A glorious field of African Daisies, Harry! I like how they are all facing the sun and those few purple ones really help bring out the purple center in the white daisies. Very lovely image.
