fog was the name of the game last Tuesday on my trip to Arkansas. superb cityscape

Striking evidence reflecting high-up on windows and buildings of first light. Obviously the runners began while darkness still shrouded their porch steps. I used to run at this time of day myself. There is a special feel of new-day, new-beginnings and the air is probably as fresh as it will get all day...particularly in a big city. Now add fog...that is quickly burning off...and the atmosphere is electric to me. You've captured the mood and atmosphere completely and triggered all of those good memories for me. Love it!

Cool capture of the iconic Chicago skyline off the shore of Lake Michigan, Mark, snapped either at dawn or at dusk. I like the reddish effect and the diminutive gleams of sunlight off the skyscrapers. And, I can certainly warm to these sort of buildings.

The fog isn't so much the subject here as is that holy golden light on the windows; the fog is just the subtle setting to showcase it. Beautiful shot, Mark!

A very impressive set of fog images, with each one having a completely different feel and atmosphere. This one here shows a very impressive cityscape and with the light shining on the skyscrapers and imagining that this must be early morning just after sunrise, I was struck by the fact that the folks jogging along the path had to have left their homes very early. Beautiful intimate shots of early morning life.

Outstanding cityscape, Mark. I love how the curve of that walkway & the organic outline of the puddle contrast with the rigid geometry of the skyline. And the orange reflections of the setting sun on the buildings look great too. Is there fog in this picture? I hadn't really noticed...
