An art text book example of perspective. My father had several books on pencil drawing and perspective...this photo could have graced any of those pages. The buildings, the trees, the light poles in the right two-thirds of your image provides lines tailing off to an unseen vanishing point. Black and white and luminescent fog tell your story. Wow...

Well worth the zoom! Marvellous.

I enjoyed looking at the three images in this series, and had a lot of fun spending time with each one. I must say, though, that this is the best of the three (imho, of course). Some of Stieglitz' work had this sepia-soft look, and if you had told me this was a previously unknown Stieglitz, I wouldn't bat an eye. I just sat here with Bill and showed him some of A.S.'s fog shots, and we agreed that this was better. I like your composition. This is seriously fine work!

What bmac62 said, plus a superb POV employed in this pic of the rather imposing sight of the high fog, atop the dark buildings standing below. Quite a contrast between the two elements. And spooky too. Actually, on further perusal, this image could pass for a window reflection. Very fine work, Mark. You must have easily received an A+ for each assignment.

What Tara said! I love this the best of the three, for the etching feel, the sepia tone, those little dots of streetlamps, and the diagonal tree line. Absolutely stunning work!!!!
