Description

I needed a pic TODAY after dark for the subject 'dressing up' and Ralph reluctantly agreed. I got two reasonably acceptable photos, the second of which is Here The Flickr image satisfies the challenge better, but I like the old boy in both images. I used the highest ISO my camera can do, 1250, and of course I have no other choices for exposure on the TZ3 and I always hand hold, so another triumph in my long running series of content over quality!

lol on "another triumph in my long running series of content over quality!" I can relate to that statement! But whether or not this pic got all the light and shade you wanted, it's a real dog portrait. It fits right in with your long series of terrific dog portraits. (I've often said you should make a book.) In the flickr version, Ralph looks like every dog on earth when forced to wear something on their heads: He's patient, but praying soooooo much that you'll free him...Here, he looks resigned. And lol, Barb---this really does show of Ralph's scars. Listen, I'm an unabashed fan of your dog shots, and this is with the best of 'm---a dog being verrrrry patient while you dress him up in chiffon. He's thinking "here she goes again..." Delightful.

I've always considered Ralphie the most elegant and stylish of your children. Two great images, especially the flickr version. He looks like he was born for the runway.

I love Ralphie in the nude or dressed up, and the low light makes him even more handsome. Both shots are great!
