this guy fell out of my gallery, and I felt sorry for him...

This would make a great animated character. Maybe have him meet Andrea's pups for some adventures. A really expressive line drawing. I think Rembrandt is just about done eating.

Aww, I love his sweet face; with great economy of line you've captured the essence of dog...this is something you make light of, but you do it so well!

Never before, in the historic annals of canine artistry, has a sketch of this magnificent magnitude been created and revealed to the public. You have captured, in this wondrous illustration, the very life's blood and soul of the obedient pooch, in just a few accomplished lines, Mark. Your talents never fail to amaze me, my friend. Indeed, Rembrandt has been reduced to a mere footnote in the world of art with this one.

The other day I had occasion to look up a Sealyham Terrier, and thought, "That looks like Mark's cartoon dog!" Now that I see this again, I'm not sure it's a pure Sealyham. Well, it was just a thought.
(You think I'm kidding? Not a chance! I wouldn't kid about something like that. I was reading a book that took place in Chicago, and someone went out to walk their Sealyham. I had to look it up to see what the dog looked like, and thought of your cartoon. True story. Even the part about Chicago.)
