A fine picture of a brave Canadian soldier. We are liberated by the Canadian soldiers in 1945 during the WWII in north Netherland. I'me Always still thankfull that they have done this for us!!! I'me wearing a silver maple leaf from 1948 until this day and I'll never take it off. In the Canadian Museum in Normandy, they thought I was a Canadian citizen. I told them that it was a sign from the cap of a Canadian officer, he gave it to my mother. So my friend, there are so much stories to tell and you see the reason why I'me still Always busy making these very interesting pictures and diorama's A friendly salute from me ,Gerrit.
