most touching, Maria, and thank you for remembering that horrific event for all of us. I read about it on my ipad, and I was just stunned. Your photo is beautiful and touching in its own right, amazing capture of a bird head on and struggling like that. You have uncanny and miraculous vision. But as a memorial to the 100 plus victims of Friday, and the others who were wounded (some critically), it's very touching. As I said of Jock, your work is an answer to all such carnage, because it has so much beauty, devotion, and love. My deep sympathies to all who suffer from horrors like yesterday's massacre in Paris. A beautiful and very touching image...
