These would actually be the Police in Chicago. The gangs have much a much better cache of weapons (wink). A very cool view of Chicago's reputation worldwide. It made me laugh and I live in the U.S. I LIKE !!!!!

with hilmarion, this image becomes poignant in light of what happened in paris...but I know you saw it with a bit of fun too; and it is done with play and for action. Well, I live in Chicago, and I can tell you that there are at least 2 Chicago's, and one of them is torn with gang violence, and people who will hurt or kill people who "trespass" their territory. And those gangs come from several ethnic backgrounds, and they can be vicious. You caught that feeling here. You portrayed the killers as a kind of Hell's Angels group, behind a barricade of motorcycles; and you have lots of smoke and fog, and a big bolt of lightning on top---a very theatrical image. And you show the division in Chicago---the glittering high rises on one side, and the gritty inner-city on the other. There are a lot of street people who suffer from gangs like this, and who are innocent of violence, and build strong neighborhoods and families even when the gangs keep fighting below. You incorporated the Chicago skyline very well, Ute, and your street has a real Chicago feel to it. A lot of those streets have great street life too...it's just such a shame that some of them are riven with gangs and drugs, etc. As always, this is done with lots of thought and wonderful composition and 'touches'...and with your always deft and playful touch. It's a serious subject, but you still bring your artistic dance to it, and that's wonderful...

je suis impressionné par la violence à la télé, par la violence du Milieu Politique, la violence intellectuelle des gens qui "savent", et surtout par l'Innocence de ceux qui meurent...tout cela va mal finir...et merci de votre soutien Ute !!!
