(as an aside, it strikes me that rust is a kind of filter to begin with: So it gave you material for a variation right out of the box!) Like all your pipe and padlock shots, you caught a dramatic angle, presenting the twists and turns that pipe-work offers if we just bother to look. And you got the color contrasts too. Your second panel looks like intensification: The rust is much heavier; you brought out more texture in the whites; and the background has suddenly become more detailed---whatever you did to this brought out some vivid detail that was latent in the first shot. The 3d panel is that electrical treatment, with energy lines taking over and threatening to devour the whole complex, lol. And you've rendered your background a kind of translucent sea. Fine work in pipe and background. And the 4th panel looks like some kind of edge work, where you've colonized the whole thing, breaking it into little atolls and shorelines and islands, all competing for space. And your background there? Love it: a kind of abstract vision of microorganisms or decay, growing on a surface. There's more going on there than meets the eye...You dived into this pipe, and found a lot of hidden life in it. And your top shot is a fine capture of rusted pipes to begin with. That's a sight many of us wouldn't know what to do with...Fine work from top to finish: I"m always happy when you return to metal-work, as you always make it sing and dance for us...

The rust pattern on this valve system reminds me of the freckles on a redhead! Wonderful find on its own, and even better once you start your digifiddling, Harry. Well done!!!

Very creative. I always like rust & the original is a fine example of it, but I like the bottom two fanciful experiments even more. Well done...

Very cool captures. Rust always makes a good subject.
