Description

An outdoor market we stumbled across while wandering through Prague one day. Lots of different types of merchandise for sale here - food, drink, flowers, crafts, souvenirs, etc. As I mentioned previously, I had absolutely no luggage space to spare (poor planning on my part), so I ended up just buying a couple of chocolate bars to take home (& wound up eating one of them). What a fantastic place! You could have mailed a bunch of goodies to yourself. I once sent three boxes of ocean polished glass, stones and shells to myself from our New Jersey visit. LOL I grew up there and so terribly missed the smell of the ocean.

I have to remind myself to buy things from our trips. Buying souvenirs is pretty low on my radar. This looks like a fun place to browse and see the sights, though! I like all the variety.

I still can't say exactly what it is that makes shots like this explode in my eyes, but it has everything to do with your intensity---ie, with which you explore color, light and dark, and line. You've brought out so many of the hues here, and separately so; and yet still allowed them to be part of the flow. So these stands come forward in power-jolts; and the effect is dazzling. The lines of the shot (perspective) is first rate; and, with your clarity in hues in the facade, the perspective is enhanced by a chorus of individual voices---meaning each building's hues, designs, etc. It reminds us that you've brought out huge energy and hue from Prague. And the sky is clear enough--and unobtrusive enough--to set-off all that's below it. Street markets are common enough sights in the world's cities; but you've turned this into a visual dancing symphony. A 100% Claude shot, and it's beautiful.

So very interesting and exciting in full view. I haven't been abroad much, and usually with fifty or so teenagers in tow, but I only ever buy maps, especially our Ordnance Survey ones.
