The 'Unfinished Curtana' is what a Paladin's relic weapon looks like before it officially becomes the Curtana. I chose this design because I didn't have the tools to make the full-fledged Curtana (a much prettier sword) the way I wanted. Still, this one turned out nice. - 43" long - made of poplar - stained 'weathered gray', the edges of the blade were done with white spray paint - burned in the simple design around the edges - finished in triple thick glaze - handle wrapped in rubber grip + paracord Overall a fun piece to make. I hope to make more, likely out of red oak. If I can get a couple more tools I should be able to make something much, much nicer, though.
