Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

I also think it smells cheap, and most people put on WAY too much of it, but that goes for most scents, cheap or not. Lovely setup and photo!

My sister likes Opium, I do too but she puts far too much on that her perfume gives me a headache

Aren't a number of celebrity-named perfumes just so-so? I mean I don't know the field well, but that's often the case in fashion, watches, etc: The celebrity develops a line, and the products are ok but nothing special---unless the celebrities are designers. Anyway, it's great to see your perfume series back. In this beauty, you have the bottles on one side, with---what---a kind of swirly glitter-filled gold-tinted background, which harmonizes with the gold tints of the bottles and box. You're intuitive to the core in your composition in this series, and you know how to back up the bottles with just the right backgrounds. The background here has waves, it's not flat. A little like fabric. And you have a subtle grain which adds a gentle glitter to the piece. The stuff may smell cheap, but your treatment of it is anything but---I love it. I've said it a million times, but there are several series of yours which I would buy in book form, no matter what you charged. And this is definitely one of them.

Another of your wonderful perfumery fotos!! I love the bottles, but only use essential oils for scent myself. My favorite is ylang ylang!!

Beautifully presented! The table or cabinet where you keep your collection must be something to see!

LOL! Tell us how you really feel, Andrea. I love the flowery prose followed by your honest assessment. There is a word, originally from Britain, that describes a thoroughly undrinkable wine, 'Plonk'. I suppose the word can be applied to perfume as well. It still didn't stop you from doing a wonderful job on this presentation. Adware raised to the level of art.
