Description
Panorama of Prague taken from the Palace Gardens. Took this with the built in panorama mode of my camera, so no post-processing stitching was required...
Zoom highly recommended for this one.

The red roofs are stunning!

your panorama takes away some of the geometry of your previous shots, and replaces it with a gentle sweep. This curves around and coagulates in the center (and to the right); and those red roofs are the things that guide us along the curves. Your always vivid clear hues give the curves real articulation. And the background---hazed over as atmosphere tends to do to distant objects---is a gentle frame for the background, topped by a gentle, pink clouded sky. It's gentler than your other roof shots, but very appealing and inviting all the same. It sweeps almost like a blanket; and it lets us see just how big these gardens are.
You know, having been in Prague as the leaves were changing allowed many of your shots to glow in multi-hues. But it struck me: Your sense of hue is so strong, that even if this were December or early April, they would still glow. The fall hues just add to the glow of your shots, like frosting on the cake. But the cake is in the way you've seen and interpreted these magnificent structures, and their consistently stunning hues.

I wonder if they have a whole army of artist-consultants that go around to view the city from every angle, deciding what to plant and what to build where to add to the overall whole atmosphere of the place? They're doing a great job if so! What a beautiful place, and your shots are a loving testament!
